Below, we outline the different categories of pergolas we design and build across the Los Gatos area and the unique qualities of each type.
StruXure Pergolas in Los Gatos: Innovation Meets Outdoor Living
StruXure pergolas represent the ultimate in flexible outdoor technology. These automated, adjustable-louver roof systems are far more advanced than typical shading solutions. Engineered to react to user settings and environmental factors, StruXure allows you to customize the climate of your space with minimal effort, instantly.
Each installation features motorized panels that can pivot up to 170 degrees. This provides you with control over light penetration, breeze levels, and weather protection. Built-in rain sensors ensure the louvers close automatically during rainfall, while integrated wind sensors modulate the system to safeguard its structural integrity.
The true difference-maker for StruXure is its smart functionality, not just its movement. You can integrate your pergola with smart home devices like Google Home or Alexa, or use a dedicated mobile app to pre-set daily routines based on sun direction or seasonal needs. These pergolas are constructed from robust extruded aluminum for unmatched durability, featuring a specialized powder-coat finish rated for variable climates like those found in Los Gatos.
Whether spanning a deck, a pool area, or a high-rise balcony, StruXure’s component-based design allows precise sizing, integrated electrical wiring for lighting, ceiling fan mounting, and the addition of motorized screens for privacy or bug control.
